CHHODO KAL KI BAATEIN - STILLS

We all know the imprtance location is to a shoot and months are spent on hunting for that perfect site.

So, when it came to shooting a song which had lines to go in sync with nature, the perfect location meant everything for director Pramod Joshi of " Chhodo Kal Ki Baatein", that stars Anupam Kher playing the role of a visually impaired man.

He says, "We required a waterfall, hopefully natural, located in lush green surroundings. We found one such, and we were delighted, since it was gushing as it was just after the monsoons.

This location was finalized two to three months before the shooting schedule. When we came down back in November for the shoot, we were all excited since we were really looking forward to shooting at this location. Just a day before the shoot I headed to the location, which was a little away from the hotel to check up the final details.

We all went back to the hotel and called it a day, leaving it for the next day to decide the plan of action. But call it God's Grace, luck or simply a miracle; that night we experienced November rain! At five in the morning when we realized that it had rained all night we rushed to the location, and there it was, the waterfall gushing down in full force!" Looks like this movie is blessed by the gods."

To my horror, I discovered that the waterfall was dry. There wasn't a drop of water. Since it'd be difficult to arrange for artificial source of water at this short notice, we all were disappointed, since we had to cancel the whole shoot.

One doesn't really have any idea whatsoever about what Chhodo Kal Ki Baatein is all about and the kind of music that would be explored here. With music and lyrics by newcomers Saleel Kulkarni and Sandeep Khare respectively, one plays on the soundtrack without expecting any chartbuster score here.
